Yeah, that sucks about Baen's. Eric Flint's really sick, though. I hope he pulls through.
Mike Resnick got back to me about this on Facebook: The props were unintentional, but the question spawned some good palaver. And... I mean, intentional or not, that felt pretty fawkin' cool to read.:)
