Finally finished reading the issue. Another good one from Arkham Tales.
I liked "To Soothe The Savage Beast." It was a good ghost story (scary) but still managed a happy ending.
I'm curious to know how much of this story was based in reality and how much was fiction.

Sort of.
I worked for a security company whose name I will not mention... because they exploit the hell out of people with disabilities, and I'm going to get sued if I write the inside job of a company profile that they demand. They're a little podunk outfit around here who trade on the name of one of my favorite Catholic saints, which puts them all the deeper into Hell in my book.
Anyway, they contract out to the DHS around here, and they get a lot of the welfare offices. All the stuff I wrote about was true, I just changed the location. And the ghost and the piano player were only tangentially related. Other than that... yeah, pretty much cinema verite.
